The end of June has proved to be a hot one here at Oaks Pawn and we suspect that ringing in the fourth will be even hotter. Tubing down the river, lounging at the pool on your quirky floatie, being under an umbrella at the beach with the breeze blowing all sound nice, but if being in the water is not an option for you, not to worry. As Floridians, we really appreciate the cooler temperatures indoors and we have quite a few deals on inside entertainment to keep you happy this hot upcoming holiday as well as the rest of summer.

Laptops are the all-in-one in our household. We have Netflix on our laptops so we can watch movies wherever we choose to set up camp on the 4th of July. Of course, the boys love it for gaming and YouTube. When school kicks back into gear in August you won’t have to fight the line at retail stores for the rush on laptops and you will have snagged an awesome deal. You can even bring in your old laptop and trade it towards the upgrade of your choice. Only one word of caution…these laptops are going fast, so stop by this weekend for prime picking!
What is your favorite movie to watch on the 4th of July? Do you like the classics like “Saving Private Ryan” or “Patton” or do you like more lighthearted thrillers like “Independence Day” or “Top Gun”? No matter your choice in movies, you will need an awesome TV to watch it on. You have to come by and see our huge selection of TVs as well. The deals are amazing! Another fun way to pass the time until the sun goes down and it’s time for the firework show, is to have a few fun gaming systems for entertainment. One of my favorite 4th of July memories is having a house full of friends with several TVs set up and multiple games happening where everyone could eat as they wanted and play a slew of different fun games.
